To reinforce an inclusive culture, B2Gold wanted to move beyond policy and embed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) practices into everyday employee experiences. The challenge was to align HR practices with industry standards and enhance advocacy across diverse teams.
The Approach
Using human-centric design techniques, Turipamwe led B2Gold’s HR team in mapping employee journeys, identifying needs and pain points, and collaboratively designing an engagement strategy. A sprint workshop helped craft a communications plan grounded in real employee perspectives.
The Result
The project culminated in the "We Are One" campaign, promoting unity across B2Gold's global sites. This campaign has driven deeper engagement and a sense of community, showcasing B2Gold's commitment to fostering a workplace where all employees feel valued.
